Ms. Lungelwa Malotana opened this school in 1987. She was the first principal from 1987 – 1999. In 2000 Dr. Vithagan Rajagopaul, became the Principal of the school after Ms. L Malotana left.

He was the Principal of the school till 2009, in 2010 Mr. Mentile was the acting principal of the school and was appointed in 2011 – to date.

Kukhanyile Public Primary is an inclusive school situated at the heart of an informal settlement in the K, L, and M sections. We offer Grades R-7. Some of the school’s values are honesty, respect.
